Lensainfo.com – Chairman of the North Lombok Regency MUI TGH. Abdul Karim Gafur made an appeal regarding a circular from the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara through his residence on Wednesday (5/21/20).

On that occasion TGH. Abdul Karim Gafur appealed not to carry out Eid prayer in mosques based on a circular from the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara.

This appeal responds to the circular letter of the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara, the Regent and MUI chairman urging all people of North Lombok not to carry out Eid prayers.

TGH. Abdul Karim Gafur said that this was in the interest of the general public and for the sake of all of us.
In addition, it was also said that this was also based on the North Lombok Ulema Council’s announcement, so that the Chairman of the North Lombok MUI invited to comply with this Appeal. “Appealing respectfully for all of us, together carry out the Eid prayer services in their homes,” he said.

The community can or may congregate with families, use sermons, but specifically for small scale at home, respectively. Also encouraged not to ever try to carry it out in a place that is very very much gathering crowds.
Because of that the potential for this spread and from Covid-19 is very potential.

It was also explained that in this case the Chair of MUI Lotara was ready to help the government and provide understanding to the public about the implementation of Eid prayer at home in order to decide on the spread of Covid 19.

According to him this appeal was made because it did not rule out the possibility that there were still people who still lacked understanding of how to cut the spread of the virus.

In addition, it is necessary to coordinate with all parties including religious leaders in connection with this circular from the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara.
“It takes the participation of the Government of West Lombok, together with all parties to act decisively in addressing this issue, to quickly decide on the spread of the Covid 19 virus,” he concluded.
